How do I access my LinkedIn account from a mobile device?

You can use LinkedIn on your mobile device using one of our mobile applications (apps) or the mobile website.

  • Mobile applications - We have free apps for:
    • iPhone
    • iPad - for iPad 2 and higher. iPad 1 is no longer supported.
    • Blackberry
    • Android
    • Windows
  • Mobile website - type "touch.linkedin.com" into your device's web browser. The mobile web page has a very different look from our mobile apps.
Supported versions of the LinkedIn app:
  • iOS - Version 6.0 or higher
  • Android - Version 3.0 or higher.
  • iPad – App version 7.0 or higher. Must have iPad OS in version 6 or higher.
  • Blackberry - Version 1.5 and below no longer supported. Must have Blackberry in version 6 OS or higher.

You'll no longer be able to sign in to your LinkedIn app if you have an unsupported version, but you can download the latest version using the steps below.

How do I upgrade to the newest version of the app?
  • iOS and iPad - iTunes App Store
    • If you have an existing version of the app, you can also tap Updates in the App Store. If there's a newer version of the LinkedIn app, it'll be listed there for you to download.
  • Android - Google Play
    • You can update from your phone or from your desktop, and it will get pushed to your phone.
  • Blackberry - Blackberry World
  • Windows - Windows Phone Store
Finding the version of my LinkedIn app on iPhone:
  1. Open the LinkedIn mobile app.
  2. Tap the LinkedIn icon in the upper left.
  3. Click the settings icon (looks like a gear) in the upper right.
  4. Under the About section, there should be a Version entry that specifies which version you have.
Finding the version of my LinkedIn app on iPad:
  1. Open the LinkedIn iPad app.
  2. Tap your profile photo in the top right corner.
  3. Tap Settings and then tap Version.
Finding the version of my LinkedIn app on Android:
  1. Open the LinkedIn mobile app from your Android home screen.
  2. Tap the LinkedIn icon in the upper left.
  3. Tap the settings icon (looks like sliding controls).
  4. Under the About section, there should be a Version entry that specifies which version you have.
