What should I do if I see an inappropriate profile?

You can directly flag a profile you're viewing that violates our User Agreement by clicking the Flag icon in the profile summary box.

If the Flag icon isn't visible, you can contact us with the following information:

  • The full name on the profile.
  • The profile page's URL (copy the link from your browser).
We take these matters very seriously. The LinkedIn Privacy Team will review the profile and take appropriate actions on any content that violates our Terms of Service. We are continually adding new technologies and security protocols to prevent this type of abuse. You can consult the User Agreement's current list of LinkedIn User "Do's" & "Don'ts" to find out what's considered inappropriate.
