Following a specific discussion in your group allows you to be notified when new comments are made in the discussion.

To follow a group discussion:

  1. Move your cursor over Interests at the top of your homepage and select Groups.
  2. Click the group's name.
  3. Click the headline of the discussion.
  4. Click the Follow link displayed under the initial discussion post.

Note: You'll get email notifications when new comments are added.

To stop following a discussion and to end email notifications:

  1. Move your cursor over Interests at the top of your homepage and select Groups.
  2. Click the group's name with the discussion you're following.
  3. Click More… next to the Search tab and select Your Activity from the dropdown list.
  4. Click Discussions You're Following on the left.
  5. Click the Unfollow link under the initial discussion post.

Note: If you accidentally click Unfollow, you can click Follow to reverse this action.

Note: You can also receive daily or weekly digest emails that summarize all of a group's activity. (This is different from the email notifications you receive shortly after any comment is made to a discussion you are following.)
