At LinkedIn, we want to provide a simple and useful experience for our members. From time to time, we take a closer look at how our features are being used by our members. Sometimes that means we decide to eliminate a feature so we can better invest those resources in building new LinkedIn products.

To optimize your card scanning experience and fine-tune our product offerings, we discontinued CardMunch as of July 15, 2014. You'll still be able to access your data from within LinkedIn Contacts or through our partnership with Evernote, an app that lets you organize and store all of your files in one place.

What will happen to my existing CardMunch data?

  • If you’re a member of both CardMunch and LinkedIn, you’ll be able to see your CardMunch contacts on the desktop version of LinkedIn Contacts and within the LinkedIn Contacts app where you can access, manage and delete such data at your convenience.
  • You can also choose to transfer your data to a new or existing Evernote account, and continue business card scanning there.
