The Skills & Expertise page is found under the More menu at the top of your home page.
LinkedIn Skills & Expertise helps you discover the expertise that other professionals have and see how the demand for these skills is changing over time. The information we show is based on data LinkedIn members enter on their profiles.
Search for a skill or expertise on the Skills & Expertise page to see:
- Related skills.
- Professionals with that skill.
- Groups that focus on that skill.
- Relative growth and size.
- Companies and locations where that skill is common.
- Current jobs posted for that skill.
- An option to add that skill to your profile.
You can also add a skill to the Skills & Expertise section of your profile from the Edit Profile page. You can add up to a maximum of 50 skills. You also have the ability to endorse your 1st degree connections’ skills too.
Note: If you're looking for the Specialties section, it's been removed. We recommend adding your specialties under the Skills & Expertise section instead. Please also note that you or your group cannot be added to a skill page upon request. Different factors are weighed and adjusted over time to determine the best results for these sections.
