What do I do if I forgot my password?

You can reset your password on the Sign in page.

  1. Click the Forgot password? link.
  2. Enter the email address you use to sign in to LinkedIn and click Submit Address.
    • If the email address you entered is in our records, we'll email a link to reset your password to that address.
  3. Go to the email account you provided, and follow the instructions in the message from LinkedIn.

    Note: The password-reset link is only valid for 1 day.

If you're unable to sign in after changing your password, clear your browser's cookies and saved passwords or try to sign in with a different browser.
